A healthy history
Based on over 1000 years of experience – in China wood oil paints were already known 3000 years ago – bio pin produces innovative natural paints with the latest technology.
As early as 1920, the grandfather of bio pin founder, Barend Jan Palm, had his own painting and decorating business and also ran a factory in The netherlands manufacturing oil paint and putty. Barend Jan Palm himself later trained in his parent's business where he learnt a lot of the firm's traditional recipes. It is his knowledge which formed the basis for the first bio pin products. True to the Palm family tradition this know-how and expertise is currently being passed on to the fourth generation.
